Britain by Choice - Who We Are
Britain by Choice is owned and operated by Charlie and Marina Newton.
Charlie is a native of Scotland and Marina, a Texan, has spent many
vacations exploring Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland. Charlie graduated
from the Scottish Hotel School and spent twenty years in the Scottish
Hospitality industry. In 1980 he become the first Director of Sales for the
Consort Hotel chain, whose 200 independent hotels are now the Best Western
partner in Britain. He remained at Consort for 12 years, at which time he
moved to Florida for two years then to Texas – “to spread the gospel of
traveling in Britain”.
As well as operating Britain by Choice, Charlie is the Sales Manager for SITA World Tours in the southern USA. SITA World Tours is your gateway to exotic destinations worldwide, specializing in Africa, Asia, Australia, India and South America.
Charlie and his sister own a cottage in Lochranza on the magical Isle of Arran off the west coast of Scotland. The cottage is available for weekly rental, Saturday to Saturday. Details can be found at: The Old Anchorage |
