FIRST CLASS ITINERARY

Day 1

Arrive at London airport and collect your automatic shift rental car from 1Car1 Rental.  Take the short drive to the regency seaside town of Brighton.  Check in to your four star hotel for 2 nights.  To help recover from your overnight flights and to pass time until your room is ready, take the open top bus sightseeing tour of Brighton.  A full cooked breakfast is included each morning.  A Great British Heritage Pass, giving unlimited access to over 600 historic sites and buildings is included and will be awaiting your arrival in Brighton.

Day 2

A full day drive to tour the “Garden of England” visiting perhaps Sissinghurst Gardens, Leeds Castle, Canterbury Cathedral and the White Cliffs of Dover.  Sites to visit will be suggested to match your personal interests.

Day 3

A drive through the rolling hills of the South Downs, visiting perhaps Winchester, Portsmouth, Salisbury, Stonehenge and Longleat before arriving in Bath for 3 nights.  A full cooked breakfast is included each morning.   Sites to visit will be suggested to match your personal interests.

Day 4

A leisurely day today to explore the Roman city of Bath, aboard the hop on hop off open top bus sightseeing tour of Bath.  Your ticket is valid all day and buses run every 15 minutes, so take the tour twice.  First time round listen to the commentary and decide what you want to go back and see.  Next time around get off and on as required.

Day 5

A full day drive today along the North Devon coast and the wilds of Exmoor.  Perhaps visit Minehead, The Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole.  Sites to visit will be suggested to match your personal interests.

Day 6

A short drive today across the Severn Bridge into Wales and two nights at a four star hotel in Cardiff the historic capital of Wales, Full breakfast is included each morning.  Take the hop on hop off open top bus sightseeing tour of Cardiff to discover the heritage and history of the city.  Be sure to visit Cardiff Castle.

Day 7

A full day contrasting drive today through the Brecon Beacons and the Industrial Heritage of South Wales.  Perhaps visit Brecon Castle, Llanciach Fawr and the Gower Peninsula.  Sites to visit will be suggested to match your personal interests.

Day 8

A leisurely drive today along the Wye Valley to Worcester, perhaps visit Wedgewood China.  Then through the rolling Cotswold countryside to your four star hotels in the heart of the Cotswolds for 2 nights with full breakfast each morning.  Sites to visit will be suggested to match your personal interests.

Day 9

A full day excursion to Stratford-Upon-Avon and a visit to historic Warwick Castle.  Sites to visit will be suggested to match your personal interests.

Day 10

A short drive south to visit the university city of Warwick then on to Royal Windsor to visit the Castle and explore this historic town, perhaps a short cruise on the River Thames and a quick look at Eton across the river.  Continue to your four star Hilton Airport Hotel for one night, first dropping off the rental car as the hotel has airport transportation.

Day 11

Transfer, by complimentary hotel shuttle, to the airport for the flight home.
